Face to Face Activities

The Minister for Equality, Children, Disability, Integration and Youth recently issued a letter withdrawing the Covid Guidance for Youth Work Organisations so that the youth sector may now deliver services in line with the limited public health measures in place at any time.

Therefore the Management Committee are now withdrawing the BB Covid Guidance but are asking companies still to operate in line with public health measures as follows:

  • Continue to follow the public health advice for symptoms, cases and contacts.
  • Continue to follow the basic public health measures in relation to hand washing/sanitising, cough etiquette, adequate ventilation, etc
  • Continue to be risk aware and wear masks, practice physical distancing and avoid crowded environments based on a risk assessment for your company.

Covid-19 has not gone away but we are moving to a phase of living with the virus and therefore we recommend that companies still continue to operate safely in line with public health measures and remember that we cannot completely revert to the way we operated before March 2020.

We hope that this information will allow companies that have not managed to reopen to look more positively towards reopening.  The Management Committee are eager to provide any assistance companies require to reopen, so please get in touch with your requests by emailing [email protected]

Guidance for Leaders on the process to be undertaken in order to reopen companies is available below. This includes our templates for Company Action Logs and Risk Assessments, together with links to various resource materials and information provided by Government sources.
